Do you honestly think they will actually increase it to that? From living in Chicago my whole life, I can attest to the fact they always propose a larger increase, then it ends up being a nickel or so. That's what has been happening since I was younger, from what I remember. Hopefully the $7.00 is a shockvalue thing it and it will lower if it actually has to happen.

Same old CTA scare tactic crap. Hike fares to ridiculous levels. Eliminate the Purple Line Express service and tear down the Yellow Line. Make South Side service even worse than it is now.

Yawn. We've heard it all before under Frank Kruesi. Same shit, different shovel.
